COMMIT/ The Big Future of Data
COMMIT/ is the national research program with eighty Dutch partners – universities and companies – that faces the challenges in ICT and Big Data research at a world level.
COMMIT/ presents fifty demos with groundbreaking research with the latest in big data science at the visual demo market. How are these scientific results applicable in today’s society? And what will be the economic impact?
The event will be opened by Bertholt Leeftink (Director-General Enterprise and Innovation at Ministry of Economic Affairs).
Other keynote speakers are Rene Penning de Vries (Topsector ICT), Erik Meijer (computer scientist and entrepreneur), Kajsa Ollengren (Alderperson of Economic Affairs) and Peter-Paul Verbeek (Professor of philosophy of technology at the University of Twente). On the After Data Party young entrepreneurs, scientists and investors will share their innovative vision on the future. Day chair will be Farid Tabarki (Public speaker, (TV) host and founder of Zeitgeist).
